Heat press / application instructions
Step 1: POSITION YOUR ITEM
Place your shirt on the heat press. Be sure to take time to line it up in the print area desired.
Step 2: PRESS
Press your item with medium heat press pressure; press your transfer at 325°F (polyester)/350°F (cotton). This is what we find has yielded the best results for 12-15 seconds.
Step 3: COOL AND PEEL
Pop open your heat press and remove the pressure and heat. Let your DTF Transfer cool down and rest approx. 15 to 30 seconds so that it is cool to the touch. Once cooled, lift the transfer from 1 corner and gently peel it off of the shirt with even pressure.
TIP: If you have several transfers/items to apply, Apply them all and set aside until all of the pressing is complete. This will allow those items to cool. Then go back and remove the transfer backs.
Step 4: 2ND PRESS / FINAL PRESS
Place the parchment paper back on your design and press again for 15 seconds to enhance the feel, it will remove the shine and increase durability/flexability.
TIP: If you want a glossy feel use a silicone sheet to cover the graphic during the finl press. It will give it a glossy and different feel.
